Warmly funny, rich with quirky characters and absurd situations, The Rabbit Factor is a triumph of a dark thriller, its tension matched only by its ability to make us rejoice in the beauty and random nature of life.
My Take
Like Palm Beach Finland this book is also funny and full of quirky people but quirky in completely different ways. Henri, the main character, is great. It’s harder to get a feel for the others since the book is written in the first person but Henri has just such an interesting take on things. Who knew actuaries could be so funny? (I’ve never been an actuary but I used to work for one and sit near them. ) The plot was delightfully twisted. There are two more books in the series that I’ll probably read later.
