His Majesty’s Dragon
It looks like an interesting series and one that I can see continuing although not right now. The main character is a bit annoying?
A Court of Thorns and Roses
It was a great deal on a Kindle boxed set so I figured it was low risk. Loved the characters and the plot. One of those where I just couldn’t put it down and therefore didn’t get a lot of sleep.
Certain Dark Things
Trying to read books with a regional influence while traveling. Another interesting book with great characters and a different culture, this one set in an alternate Mexico City.
The Actual Star
Wow. Just wow. So glad someone talked her into combining everything into one book rather than three separate ones because I think it was much better as all one book. Fascinating.
Mexican Gothic
Classic elements of a gothic novel, set in 1950s Mexico. Parts of it were really creepy and I enjoyed it.
Teixcalaan
Another one of those series that I may have to go back and reread for all the little details. I hope there’s more to come. I want to hear more from this world.
Wayward Children
I had just finished rereading the Harry Potter books and decided to follow those up with another series about a school for children who are… different. And it’s a very different series. Darker, more strange.
