I wanted something light and these fit the bill. Good storylines, interesting characters. I got to meet more Jedi, though in the end they all seemed to blur.

The Nurse
I devoured this book in about a day. It’s a dark book about dark topics. And unlike a lot of thrillers, the characters don’t feel like stereotypes plugged in to build a plot around.
The Mirror Visitor Quartet
I held off on this one because it’s YA and it’s a translation, and those don’t always work for me. This series did.
Inspector Karen Pirie Series
I like all of Val McDermid’s work. This series might be my favorite. Not as dark as Tony Hill & Carol Jordan, but dark enough.
