Pirate Latitudes
I love how Michael Crichton just pulls you right into the story and the world of the book. Not his best work, certainly, but not the worst.
The Green Bone Saga
The characters are delightfully gray and the plots intricate. I’m interested to see what she comes up with next.
The High Mountain Court
A fun read and an interesting world, though not interesting enough to immediately dive into the rest of the series.
Her Name is Knight
Nicely plotted, suspenseful tale covering human trafficking and a secret society devoted to a united Africa, by almost any means.
Moirin’s (Naamah) Trilogy
The storyline is a fairly common one. It’s certainly on a grand, sweeping scale, and there’s more magic and less political intrigue than in the other Terre d’Ange series.
